Some users may encounter a situation where the Outlook add-in gets disabled due to Data Execution Prevention (DEP). They may see a message similar to this:
The resolution is to re-enable the add-in by following these steps:
- In Outlook, choose File > Options
- From this dialog, select Add-Ins from the list at the left hand side
- Choose Disabled Add-Ins from the drop-down box at the bottom of this screen, then click Go
- Locate the Soup Mail Outlook Add-In from the list in the dialog that comes up, select it, and click Enable
The Add-In should now be present in the ribbon. If not, follow steps 1-2 above, then do the following:
- Choose COM Add-Ins from the drop-down box at the bottom of the screen, then click Go
- Locate the Soup Mail Outlook Add-In from the list, and ensure its checkbox is checked, then click OK
